Update to GM Screen Mockup
Dear Backers,
Lots has been going into Tales of the Valiant Player's Guide and Monster Vault in the last few months as we incorporate the playtest results. At the same time, some really sweet art is rolling in, and we want to share it.
Here's the latest and biggest: a preview of the TOV GM Screen art by Joshua Raphael, with a familiar black flag warrior and the new black dragon as well. Celeste Conowitch and the crew are locking down the items to put on the inside of that screen--if you have suggestsions or neat ideas from other GM screens, feel free to drop them in the comments!
To add the graphic roll going, I'm also happy to share the class icons for Barbarian, Monk, Rogue, Sorcerer, and Wizard below!
This core rules document is available under the ORC license so that anyone can publish their own Black-Flag-compatible roleplaying material. This is not the final reference document; it doesn't yet contain everything the complete rules will cover. However, there's plenty now for creative work to start.

Second Adventure for Tales of the Valiant RPG
Dear Backers,
The second Tales of the Valiant adventure, Trouble at Mossbeard Mill, has been released via a Kickstarter message and the Kobold Press Store to all backers who pledged $48 or more.
Getting the Adventure
If you pledged at least $48 on this Kickstarter (from the $48 PDF Collection tier to the $699 Super-Deluxe Two-Book Set tier), you will receive a message via Kickstarter (and/or an email from Kickstarter that you received a message from us) with a link to the adventure PDF on the Kobold Press website along with a coupon code. You can add the adventure to your cart and use the coupon code during checkout, making it a $0 purchase. This coupon is good through December 2024. You will need an account on the Kobold Press store website to complete your order. Once checkout is complete, download the PDF by clicking the Download link in the receipt or from My Account > Downloads.
Create a Kobold Press Store Account
To create an account, click Store > My Account > Create Account. The store will automatically sign you in after you complete the registration. You can then complete checkout.
Troubleshooting
Slow Download: To avoid multiple orders stacking up in your account, check your Downloads page before attempting a second checkout. Your order may go through even when the site is working slowly or at high volume.
Other Issues: If you have tried all of the above and still can’t claim your Trouble at Mossbeard Mill PDF, or if you do not see a message in Kickstarter from us by 3pm Pacific Monday, 16 October, please contact us via support.koboldpress.com.
