Third Adventure for Tales of the Valiant RPG Released!

Dear Backers,
The third Tales of the Valiant adventure, Hidden Tomb of Nargoth, has been released to all backers who pledged $48 or more. A Kickstarter message with a coupon that you can use to download the PDF from the Kobold Press Store has been sent to you via Kickstarter.
Getting the Adventure
If you pledged at least $48 on the Tales of the Valiant Kickstarter (from the $48 PDF Collection tier to the $699 Super-Deluxe Two-Book Set tier), you will receive a message in your Kickstarter account (and/or an email notification from Kickstarter). This notification includes a link to the adventure PDF on the Kobold Press Store website as well as a coupon code. Just add the adventure to your cart and use the coupon code during checkout, making it a $0 purchase. This coupon is good through 31 December 2024. You will need an account on the Kobold Press Store website (see setup instructions below) to complete your order. Once checkout is complete, download the PDF by clicking the Download link in the receipt or from My Account >Downloads.
Creating a Kobold Press Store Account
To create an account, click Store > My Account >Create Account. The store will automatically sign you in after you complete the registration. You can then complete checkout.
Troubleshooting
Slow Download: To avoid multiple orders stacking up in your account, check your Downloads page before attempting a second checkout. Your order may go through even when the site is working slowly or at high volume.
Other Issues: If you have tried all of the above and still can’t claim your Hidden Tomb of Nargoth PDF, or if you do not see a message in Kickstarter from us by 3pm PT Monday, 5 February 2024, please contact us via support.koboldpress.com.
What if I Didn’t Pledge at an Eligible Tier? What if My Friend Wants a Copy?
Hidden Tomb of Nargoth will be available for purchase on the Kobold Press website beginning Monday, 5 February 2024 for those who didn’t back this Kickstarter or for those who didn’t back at an eligible pledge tier.
Tales of the Valiant Production Update

So, there’s good news and bad news. The good news is that the books have gone into layout, and they are HUGE. We anticipated 352 pages for the Player’s Guide alone and that seemed pretty solid. However, with a large amount of feedback from playtesting to address, plus our desire to have these books be the best they can be—well, both books are coming in at 384 pages long!
The downside is that the Kobold team needs to put in extra work to make sure everything is as polished as possible (thank you to all the playtesters who found and reported issues—we’ve taken the time to address these). Naturally, a bigger book means we have extra pages to lay out, proof, and print.
Bottom line: Our new target ship date for US and Canadian backers is May. This is not what we promised. However, we’d rather put a book out a few weeks later than publish it rushed and sloppy. So, we appreciate your patience while we shove, pry, and hammer away furiously in the layout, print, and shipping steps.
If any other issues crop up, we’ll let you know. And to tide you over, we hope you enjoy this sneak peek at some of the pages from Monster Vault. We’ll share more previews over the next few months as we work through the various production steps.

Update to GM Screen Mockup
Dear Backers,
Lots has been going into Tales of the Valiant Player's Guide and Monster Vault in the last few months as we incorporate the playtest results. At the same time, some really sweet art is rolling in, and we want to share it.
Here's the latest and biggest: a preview of the TOV GM Screen art by Joshua Raphael, with a familiar black flag warrior and the new black dragon as well. Celeste Conowitch and the crew are locking down the items to put on the inside of that screen--if you have suggestsions or neat ideas from other GM screens, feel free to drop them in the comments!
To add the graphic roll going, I'm also happy to share the class icons for Barbarian, Monk, Rogue, Sorcerer, and Wizard below!
This core rules document is available under the ORC license so that anyone can publish their own Black-Flag-compatible roleplaying material. This is not the final reference document; it doesn't yet contain everything the complete rules will cover. However, there's plenty now for creative work to start.
